MELISSA STAROSZIK

Melissa Staroszik is an internationally experienced dance educator, adjudicator, choreographer, and creative director with over 20 years of professional experience across Canada and the United States.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Melissa began her career as a competitive rhythmic gymnast, earning five consecutive provincial championships before transitioning into professional dance and choreography. She has taught extensively in Canada and the U.S., working with dancers of all ages and levels across jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre, ballet foundations, heels, and specialty movement.
Melissa is the founder of the all-female heels dance crew Sinfully Sweet, which opened concerts for major artists including Lady Gaga, Akon, Girlicious, Dave Navarro, Danny Fernandes, Will.I.Am, and others. The success of the company led her to Los Angeles, where she expanded her career internationally, performing and choreographing for live events, touring productions, and commercial projects alongside artists such as La Toya Jackson, Pharrell, and Andy Madadian.
She is also the Founder and Creative Director of Elite Entertainment Global, a luxury entertainment agency producing high-level performances for live events, television, film, and experiential brand activations. Her creative work includes projects for MTV, Mercedes-Benz USA, Universal Studios, The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Porsche, and other global luxury brands. Her signature style blends technical dance training with immersive storytelling, couture costuming, and specialty performance.
